With the NBA Finals still a few days away, Kyrie Irving is still not back to being the Kyrie he will need to be in order to contain Stephen Curry. He will surely be ready for Game 1, but it is still not clear if his knee will be completely ready for him to be receiving major minutes.
Kyrie Irving took part in some of today’s practice. David Blatt says he’s still not himself yet.

The knee injury kept Irving out of some games in the Eastern Conference Finals after he originally suffered the blow in the Game 1 victory over Atlanta. The Cavs are going to need to keep giving Kyrie the rest he needs to he can be as ready as possible once the wait for the finals is over.
Fans want to see both teams and their players ready to go so the series can be as exciting as possible. If Kyrie can’t get back to full strength it will certainly be a huge blow to the Cavs and the series itself. He seems to be on the right track, and is continuously inching towards being at full strength.
