It seems like as every day passes, we get better news on the return of the Cleveland Cavaliers starting backcourt. We haven’t seen Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert together in a Cavs uniform at the same time since Game 1 of the NBA Finals just about six months ago and it appears the return of the tandem is happening sooner rather than later.
Recently, both guards took part in a full Cavs practice and while the amount they did participate in is still unknown, it’s still a great sign to see them after practice drenched in sweat.
Now as the return inches closer we get what could be considered a sneak peek at what to expect from the skilled backcourt duo.

Seeing them back on the court for the Cavs Christmas Day matchup against the Golden State Warriors could be a stretch but don’t leave out that possibility. Expect their return to be something like a WWE match. Unexpected, scripted and possibly catching a ton of people off-guard.
If their return is anything like the Hardy Boyz, then they will be tough, carefree and unphased by any challengers.
