In another case of ‘please take this report with a grain of salt’, Stephen A Smith stars in the leading role in this short story.
The ESPN reporter and personality from the heavily scrutanized show ‘First Take’ has a new report about the Cleveland Cavaliers and their All-Star point guard, Kyrie Irving.
Granted, Smith has a track record that speaks for itself dating back to his days covering Allen Iverson in Philadelphia but as of late, he’s reported weird story after story for the last few years.
This one isn’t exactly his most outrageous claim and it could have some weight behind it. Kyrie Irving suffered an injury in game 1 of the NBA Finals, it was revealed that Irving would miss the remainder of the NBA Finals and it even cut into the start of Irving’s 2015-16 campaign. There was a report that surfaced which stated that members of Kyrie’s camp weren’t happy with how Irving’s prior knee injuries were treated leading up to his broken kneecap in the Finals.
So while there is some reported friction, is it enough to make Kyrie want to leave? If LeBron James left his hometown of Cleveland, what’s stopping Kyrie from departing ‘The Land’?
