That’s the scenario facing Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving who will be out of action until the beginning of training camp after suffering the injury during a “freak accident” at Cleveland practice in Las Vegas. Irving says he will be more careful in the future.
“It was just a freak accident,” said Irving, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 draft. “I am a little disappointed, I have to be more responsible about my health. It was just crazy. It happened so fast.”
