KYLE has never been afraid to open up and let fans into his heart, mind and thoughts. Just last year, he kicked off the rollout for his second album, See You When I Am Famous, with “What It Is,” a track that dissects the tough moments of an uncomfortable breakup. His latest single, “Love Me Like You Say You Love Me,” does much of the same.
Produced by Leven Kali, KYLE’s new single and video showcases an experience that too many of us are familiar with. It’s clear that the relationship has run its course, but both parties are trying to hold for a just a little bit longer in hopes that things will work out. More often than not, it never goes the way that we’d hope.
“We’ve been done for quite some time now, you know/But the strongest love dies slow/No more episodes, season finale/Being the bad guy is right up my alley,” he sings.
“If you love me enough, let me go/If you love me enough, let me grow/At times we love too much to let go/If you love me like you say you love me.”
