Kyle Guy has declared for the draft, joining two of his Virginia teammates Ty Jerome and De’Andre Hunter. Guy makes the third of the Cavalier players to declare just this week. While Guy has hired an agent, he is taking advantage of the new rule that allows players to return the school after hiring an agent. Guy is fresh off being named Final Four Most Outstanding Player after Virginia beat Texas Tech in last week’s national championship.

Kyle Guy isn’t considered a first rounder or a lock to be picked in the second round. He himself retweeted a few tweets after declaring that mentioned him getting in front of scouts to hear feedback on his game. He will definitely play professionally somewhere but the NBA just may not be that place. His shooting will get him a job somewhere as he shot 42.5% from three in his three years at Virginia. If he ultimately decides to return, with two-thirds of Virginia’s big three shots will readily available for Guy.
