The boxing career of Olajide Olayinka Williams “KSI” Olatunji will continue this fall. On October 14, the YouTube sensation will return to the ring for a showdown with Tommy Fury in Manchester, England.
“October 14, I’m doing what Jake Paul couldn’t and beating Tommy Fury on the biggest night in crossover boxing history, at Manchester’s AO Arena, live on DAZN PPV on the Prime card,” KSI tweeted.
Not only will KSI bill this as his toughest boxing test yet, but he also feels that it will be his last boxing match ever.
“I feel like that’s gonna be my final fight [with Tommy Fury]. I just don’t see the Jake Paul fight happening,” he said earlier this week.
If Tommy Fury is able to follow through, he believes the public won’t want to see KSI share the ring with Jake Paul. The younger brother of the heavyweight champion has his sights set on a knockout of the unbeaten influencer boxer.
“You’re getting knocked out in front of my home crowd. This is gonna be fun, KSI,” Fury wrote on Instagram.
In the meantime, Jake Paul will look to take care of business against Nate Diaz in his first 10-round bout. Paul enters the PPV event as a nearly -400 favorite to beat the former UFC star.
