We were treated to a game of mediocrity yesterday as the Houston Rockets beat the New York Knicks 116-111 in OT. It seems that James Harden has finally got his groove back offensively, still garbage defensively of course. Dwight Howard was trash in the game, missing hook shots, pretty much getting bullied by Kevin Seraphin, it was sad. He’s really been washed ever since he left Orlando.
On the other side, the New York Knicks fans is swept by Kristaps Porzingis and his put back dunks. But there was one play that apparently superceded Dwight’s mediocre game. He jammed on Rookie of the Year candidate Kristaps Porzingis. Everybody has seen the Vine loop and I have a feeling that Porzingis will remember it next time he faces D12.
“He dunked on me; he got me. I was asking [my teammates], ‘When is the next game against Houston? I want to get him back,’” Porzingis said with a grin. “You know, it happens. He’s a great player. I’m looking forward to playing next time against him.“
Howard better watch himself next time. Seraphin had his number last night and it can easily be Kristaps next time they face each other.
