Kobe Bryant doesn’t look back the period in 2005-2007 when the Lakers were in transition from the ‘Shaq-era’ too fondly. The Black Mamba has thrown shots at teammates such as Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm in the past but his favorite whipping boy is New York playground legend, Smush Parker. It was no different prior to the Lakers preseason game with Portland the other night where Kobe referred to Parker as “the worst.”
“He shouldn’t have been in the NBA but we were too cheap to pay for a point guard. So we let him walk on.”
Ouch.
