Kobe Bryant continues his latest venture in movie directing with his installment of “The Musecage”. The most recent video was a barrage of amazing highlights from Kawhi Leonard. Blocks, fadeaway jumpers, and taking candy from a baby steals. The general premise surrounding the video was simple and obvious for a Kobe Bryant creation.
The video was all about being an obsessive competitor. How obsessive competitors want to dominate you offensively and defensively, offensively and defensively, offensively and defensively as the young narrator repeated continuously (and relentlessly). The video was clearly in reference to how Kawhi is one of the best 2 way players in the NBA. Winning two defensive player of the year awards and now being the best offensive player on his team.
Kobe’s videos are interesting because they give a look at what he views is important in basketball. Or, what he wants others to believe is important when it comes to basketball because it was what he personified. Either way, each installment is more obscure and strange than the last which makes for good video content.
