In Kobe Bryant’s 18th and final All-Star Game, he didn’t play amazingly. In 25 minutes, Bryant scored 10 points while shooting 4-11 from the field and 1-5 from beyond the arc. Bryant’s popularity showed though, as he led all NBA players in All-Star votes.
Nonetheless, there are an enormous amount of Kobe Bryant fans worldwide, and acquiring the jersey that Bryant wore in his last All-Star game would be considered a tremendous honor for many fans. So, the NBA auctioned off his worn game jersey, and it sold. For $100,040. That is a looooot of money. I’m sure that whoever bought it is happy with the purchase though.
This season, Bryant has averaged 16.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 35.8% from the field, 27.5% from 3, and 79.9% from the foul line.
