As we all know now Kevin Durant will be out for a significant amount of time with a “Jones fracture” in his foot. He’ll miss 6-8 weeks which will give Russell Westbrook his time to shine.
Kobe Bryant has had his fair share of injuries. And mentally, he always seems better off for it. Physically. A different story but you can never doubt the Black Mamba when it comes to mental preparation. Which is why he’s the perfect person to give Kevin Durant some advice about his recent injury and how to recover properly. As InsideSoCal reports.
“It’s tough. He’s gotta be patient and do what you can in the interim and study the game and try to improve the mental aspect of it,” Bryant said. “That’s what I already tried to do when I was out and come back a better player.”
Kevin Durant should do exactly what Kobe says. Take some time out, study the game. You can never learn too much and Kobe knows that. All the greats know that and if Kevin Durant wants to live up to his Hall of Fame potential. He’ll take this time to enjoy the game he plays and before you know it, he’ll be winning another MVP maybe.
