The Knicks have now signed Ricky Ledo to a ten-day contract, which is his second with the Knicks. In 2013, Ledo was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round with the 43rd overall pick after spending his college career at Providence.
In his first ten-day deal with the Knicks, Ledo averaged 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game through five games. Ledo has also played for the Dallas Mavericks this season, where he averaged .2 points per game in just 2.2 minutes per game.
When this ten-day deal runs out, the Knicks should resign Ledo for the rest of the season if he is able to keep up this production. Unless the tanking Knicks feel Ledo hurts their chances to continue to tank, Ledo should be a member of the Knicks for the remainder of the season. This is very possible as the Knicks seem to actually want to lose rather than have any chance to compete for victories.
