The second deal of the 2015 NBA Draft night will see the New York Knicks send guard Tim Hardaway Jr to the Atlanta Hawks for the rights to former Notre Dame point guard Jerian Grant.
Atlanta Hawks initially had the 15th overall pick but they selected Kelly Oubre Jr who was sent to the Washington Wizards in exchange for the 19th overall pick along with 2 later second round picks.
The Hawks then selected Jerian Grant with the 19th overall pick and they in turn sent him to the New York Knicks for Hardaway Jr. Hardaway was talked about previously being dealt by the team to possibly the Detroit Pistons for Brandon Jennings but at the end of the day, Hardaway will be joining the Hawks in ATL.
