There are 5 teams that are heavily considering trading their lottery picks and they have good reason to do so. According to Chad Ford of ESPN:
The Knicks will talk trade with everyone & are also big Justise Winslow fans. Not sure they’re sold on Mudiay …

Expect the Magic, Kings, Pistons and Hornets to seriously consider trading their picks. All 4 want to accelerate rebuild

Well this just makes practical sense. The New York Knicks who are desperate for some kind of good glimmer of hope, got robbed for the 4th Overall pick, when they were supposed to get the 2nd pick. They could trade this to a team who wants to quicken their rebuilding process. With the Pistons, Hornets, Kings, and Magic. They are all middle level, lottery teams. Teams that aren’t bad, but unfortunately aren’t good enough just yet, because there players haven’t turned out the way they want them too. With the Pistons, Monroe and Drummond clearly can’t work well to each other, and adding another young prospect would confuse it more. The Hornets don’t want lance stephenson, maybe they can package him and the pick to get a shooting guard who can actually help Kemba Walker? The main reason they would want to trade is to win now.
