The Knicks not only lost their 14th game in a row, but their 24th game out of 25 and sit at the bottom of the NBA by themselves at 5-34.
Rookie Travis Wear scored a season-high 21 points and Langston Galloway had 19 for the Knicks in his second game since being called up from the NBA Development League.
With Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudimire, and Andrea Bargnani sitting out, the Knicks lineup was mainly made up of guys who were on their summer league roster.
The game was close at the end of the first quarter, when the Rockets led 27-22, but a 13-2 run to open up the second gave Houston a comfortable lead that they never looked back on.
This win extends the Rockets winning streak against the Knicks to 11, having not lost to New York since 2009.
Next up for the Knicks is the Hornets at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, while the Rockets will go back to Houston to host the Jazz on Saturday just to come back to New York to play the Nets on Monday in Brooklyn.
