Klay Thompson, Kemba Walker Named NBA Players Of The Week
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson and Charlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker have been named the NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week.
Thompson averaged 27.7 points on 51.9 percent shooting in his three-game stretch last week, including a 40-point game against the Pacers. The Warriors won all three games by over 15 points in the week and are on a six-game winning streak.
On the season Thompson is averaging 21.6 points per game, shooting over 40 percent from the field and the three-point line.
Walker led the Charlottle Hornets to a 4-0 week without Lance Stephenson and Al Jefferson. His average on the week was 30.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 50 percent from the floor. On the season Walker is averaging 18.9 points, 4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.
