Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson has seen his star rise incrementally over the years. As a young shooter playing alongside Stephen Curry, early on not many eyes were on Klay Thompson. But after three consecutive trips to the NBA All-Star Game and back-to-back NBA Finals, with one more possibly coming soon, probably the second-best three-point shooter of all-time is now known all over.
With his rising star, the sharpshooting wingman needs to continue to receive the recognition both on the court and off. He’s maximized his star by inking a big contract, and he also signed a shoe deal, but it has come under fire recently. Klay’s deal with Chinese footwear company Anta reportedly might not be as great as others with more well-known companies like Nike, adidas or even Under Armour. Klay possibly is missing out on millions of more dollars signing with a smaller company, and he’s reportedly not happy about it.
But Klay's view of his shoe deal, which was renegotiated last summer, appears to have played a big part.Context here https://t.co/xHzBfo55dE

But Thompson might not be so pleased with his potential earning power. He’s changings agents, going from BDA to the Wasserman group. He was reportedly having Wasserman doing his off-court business, but now they will fully cover Thompson.
Following from Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal.
Wasserman is representing Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson both on and off the court.
Greg Lawrence is Thompson’s lead agent at Wasserman. He was formerly represented by BDA Sports.
