Shots fired in Brooklyn!
As AK-47 (Andrei Kirilenko) and the Brooklyn Nets shrug at Jason Kidd leaving for Milwaukee, it turns out that Kirilenko couldn’t give a rip that Kidd left. He went as far as saying that he couldn’t handle the pressure of being a Head Coach in New York.
So the pressure is huge. And Kidd couldn’t handle it. Or maybe didn’t want to.
Basically he was not able to do much of anything.
When Kidd became head [coach] of the team, no one really knew what to expect.
Of course he had colossal experience as a player but no coaching experience. Or reputation. At the beginning it was difficult. What else could it be when you’re losing more games than you’re winning?

Those were some words by Kirilenko there. Along with the soft hate for Kidd he also expressed his confidence in Lionel Hollins. Which is obvious since Hollins is a legit coach who will whip the Nets into shape very quickly.
Hopefully the Nets can have an injury free season so we can see them fully fit and taking charge like they should’ve been when they killed their cap for the next quadrillion years.
