The Sacramento Kings continue to making the quickest decision regardless of whether it’s good or not. Seriously they have this ethos where they go for the kneejerk reaction and never bother to just take a day to think about their next decision.
Vlade Divac is the VP of Kings basketball. But now, because reasons, the Kings have added GM to the title.
The Kings announced Monday that Divac will serve as vice president of basketball operations and general manager. Divac was hired in March as vice president of basketball and franchise operations.
The Kings also announced that Mike Bratz will be assistant general manager, Roland Beech will serve as vice president of basketball strategy and Peja Stojakovic will be director of player personnel and development.
If the Kings can just show a shred of commitment to everybody involved, they’ll be fine. They’ve gone through so much change over the past year, most of it was completely unnecessary. They looked okay for the future a couple of years ago, now I don’t know where they’ll go. They certainly won’t go up, there’s way too many fluctuations. They can’t possibly succeed in basketball with all these changes. I’d be amazed if they improve from last season.
