The Sacramento Kings have offered Wesley Matthews a 3-year, $45 million dollar contract, which will bring him to his desired $15 million a year salary. Matthews has been in discussion with the Mavericks, Kings, Raptors and Blazers are an unrestricted free agent who is a specialist in defense and 3-point shooting. Despite the Kings being the only ones to currently offer Matthews the amount he desires, it is told that the Mavs are the desired spot for him.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN:

But ESPN sources say Dallas is Wes Matthews’ preferred destination — over both Kings and Raptors — and that Mavs are favorites to land him

Matthews can decide at any time, but sources are saying he’s going to decide soon and it’s between the Kings, Raptors and Mavericks. In terms of players expected to return, the Raptors have the most potential, just because the Mavericks have so many free agents. With the Mavericks there is so much that has to be decided. Tyson Chandler, Rajon Rondo, and Monta Ellis are all gone and the only players from the starting lineup returning are Chandler Parsons and Dirk Nowitzki. The prospect of playing for the Mavericks really depends on who they can attract. The Kings would be an interesting fit for the Blazers, who are also looking to ship Rudy Gay and improve at the point-guard position.
