Sacramento Kings guard James Anderson will leave the NBA to play in Europe next season, according to international reporter David Pick:
James Anderson, I’m told, to leave the NBA for Europe. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Fenerbahce all in mix.

Recently, James Anderson officially opted out of his contract with Sacramento and is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Seth Curry, the brother of MVP Stephen Curry, made the same decision along with Anderson. Unlike Anderson, however, Curry is expected to sign with an NBA team next season.
James Anderson, 26, appeared in 51 games for the Kings this season, averaging 3.5 points on an abysmal 27% from behind the arc and 38% from the field.
Signed in 2015 as a free agent, the Kings had hopes of Anderson being able to produce quality minutes off the bench for them this season. With Anderson struggling for most of the season, he will now take time off from the NBA and play in Europe.
James Anderson was selected #20 overall in the 2010 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs. He spent two full seasons with the Spurs before being dealt away to the Rockets in 2013. Anderson later wound up playing for the 76ers where he averaged 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
