Over the last few years, King Combs has worked to establish himself as a solo act. He’s delivered singles like “F*ck The Summer Up” and “Naughty” with Jeremih. The New York native also put together his own solo project, Cyncerly C3, with features from Tee Grizzley, City Girls and Ty Dolla $ign. Not to mention, he’s appeared on Pop Smoke’s debut album and Teyana Taylor’s The Album. After all of that, he still feels that he needs to cement himself within Hip-Hop further.
“I’m more mature now, so you will hear that [reflected] in my new music. I am diving in more creatively with producers, and working with some legendary artist and creatives intuitively on this body of work,” he said during a recent interview.
“This isn’t a hobby because of who my dad is; this is my passion.”
King Combs continues to move his career forward in a major way. This Friday, he connected with one of the biggest artists in music today, Future. The two worked together to put out “Holdin’ Me Down” produced by Southside. Check out the full record below and be on the lookout for his debut album later this year.
