
Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi is taking his next step as an actor. The accomplished artist has just joined the cast of Crater on Disney+. He will join a cast that already includes Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, McKenna Grace and Thomas Boyce. Kyle Patrick Alvarez has already signed on the direct and production is slated to begin this spring. As described by Deadline, the film is a “coming-of-age story about a boy growing up on a lunar colony who takes a trip to explore a mysterious crater with his four best friends. Mescudi will play Russell-Bailey’s dad.”
Kid Cudi is no stranger to the world of film and television. Over the years, he’s appeared in shows like How To Make It In America, Westworld and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. More recently, he played the role of Richard Poythress on HBO’s We Are Who We Are. Not to mention, his music has been featured on Ballers, Saturday Night Live and The King of Staten Island. Moving forward, he will have a roles in the aforementioned Crater film along with Don’t Look Up on Netflix.
