On Friday, August 22, 2025, the artist from Shaker Heights released his eleventh studio album, Free. Inspired by The Truman Show, Kid Cudi says his latest project is “a beautiful ride” leading to “freedom.”
“I wanted something that really expressed freedom, so the concept of me leaping into the clouds made so much sense. Inspired by The Truman Show. I can’t WAIT for u guys to hear this album and really see the album art brought to life. You’re in for a beautiful ride,” he wrote as he unveiled the album cover.
More than 15 years removed from the release of his debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, Kid Cudi still has much more to say and share with the world. Check out his latest LP, Free, below.
