With Kevin Garnett limping into his 20th season in the NBA it’s time for the Big Ticket to start thinking about life after basketball.
And according to The Brooklyn Game KG is looking to find a career in Brooklyn that does include rebounding.
This could be just the start of a long-term relationship.
Kevin’s got a lot of interests outside of just playing basketball, as we know, and I think he saw Brooklyn as an opportunity to try to capitalize on a number of those interests. When the smoke clears, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin Garnett has some role moving forward beyond his basketball-playing years, whether it’s within the Nets organization, whether it’s with ownership, whether it’s within the marketing aspect of this team, whether it’s just within Brooklyn. That could be something to keep an eye on down the road.
Kevin sees a bigger picture here than just playing one more year with the Nets.

I can see Garnett coaching a team within the next 5 years. The leadership just oozes out of him every game and you can see how contagious it is. He’s the Cesar Millan of Brooklyn.
Brooklyn are lucky to have him. And knowing that he wants to have a basketball career that doesn’t include putting jersey, is all the more sweet.
