Before all of today’s news regarding DeAndre Jordan, the Dallas Mavericks had already expressed their interested in Kevin Seraphin, but now, the move seems like it is even more of a possibility. All of the rumors and speculation swirling around are helping Seraphin more than anybody else in the league, proving his decision to take time before making a decision is going to potentially pay off.

Seraphin has also received interest from the Lakers, Wizards, Suns, and Spurs, all of which he would not be the starter on. If Jordan ends up taking back his deal with Dallas so he can remain a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, the former Wizard could have the opportunity to be a starter that he is looking for.
Talks between Seraphin and Dallas could heat up within a day or even within the next few hours if anything breaking happens with Jordan. The French center was smart to wait for other pieces to fall, and could find the opportunity he is looking for because of it.
