It’s been a fairly quiet year for Toronto’s very own, Drake. During the spring, he hopped on Summer Walker’s “Girls Need Love Remix”. Later, he dropped two records following the Toronto Raptors first ever NBA Championship. Other than that, Drake has maintained as low of a profile as a mega star can have. Still, there’s a few months left in this decade and he may have a few more surprises up his sleeve.
Earlier today, the Grammy award winner hopped on the remix to “Ela É do Tipo” with Kevin O Chris. Kevin O Chris teased the song a few weeks ago and the full version is now here.
Drake sings, “First time I saw you, I wasn’t thinking of you and I/I was just thinking?of?I/First time we?fucked was at my place, it?was a couple years late/But it was fate and I think you feel good about it.”
Kevin O Chris is not as well known in the United States, but his star power overseas is undeniable. Most recently, he was nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award over the weekend. It’s unclear if Kevin O Chris will distribute his music in the U.S. through OVO Sound moving forward, but this particular will be distributed through Drake’s imprint.
