So against my personal judgement I picked the Houston Rockets to finally make the Western Conference Finals. I really thought James Harden would actually turn up! Silly me! He hasn’t even turned up in the regular season! Neither have any of the Houston Rockets as it turns out because they’re 0-2, losing both games by at least 20.
I’m not happy and Kevin McHale isn’t either.
It has forced coach Kevin McHale to use words and phrases like “slow,” “funky,” “not comfortable,” “bad practices” and “no rhythm” when describing his team.
“Our offense is really stagnant,” he said. “We made too many mistakes defensively again. We’re not making plays for each other at the rate we need to.“
And what about Harden? What’s his excuse?
“I got a couple of open looks that weren’t falling,” he said. “But a couple of them are tougher shots. My shots are tougher and the guy’s shots are tougher. We didn’t get some really good shots for a long period of time and that puts a lot of pressure on our defense.“
I knew that he wouldn’t win the MVP this year but I didn’t expect the guy to completely dissappear! Ty Lawson, hook up the brother!
I expected for Lawson to be the final piece to finally get them to the Western Conference Finals but at this rate you can forget about it.
