The Boston Celtics have been linked to Kevin Love in free agency, but when Kelly Olynyk supposedly injured Kevin Love, they lost hope of that happening. Now the hope might be back for Celtics fans.
According to David Aldridge of NBA.com:
“I’m told authoritatively that Love holds no long-lasting ill will toward either the Celtics or Olynyk.”
First Kevin Love doesn’t return Kelly Olynyk’s calls, and then he still believed that Olynyk injured him.
Cleveland will have something to say about Kevin Love walking away. This summer will be interesting because a lot of star power is in this free agency. LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre Jordan, Kevin Love, all are free agents, and everybody has enough money to try to bid. Do the Celtics have enough to sign Kevin Love?
They surprised most people when they became the 7th seed in the East and played the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. With the role players they have and the depth they have gained through various trades and picks, it makes it a hot spot for players.
