The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to stave off semi-elimination vs. the Warriors in game three of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, and Kevin Love will have to watch uselessly from the sidelines as his team goes head-to-head with one of the, if not the greatest team of all time.
Love, who was reportedly feeling optimistic about playing in game three after suffering a concussion in game one, had his hopes dashed when he was not cleared to play. Love is not happy, reports ESPN’s Marc Stein:
Kevin Love is “really frustrated” by the Cavs’ insistence that he sits out tonight’s Game 3, according to one source close to the situation.

Poor Kevin Love. The Cavs got completely annihilated in both games one and two vs. the Warriors. This is a really, really boring NBA Finals. One team is simply far superior to the other. It sincerely feels like there’s nothing that the Cavs can do about that fact–Kevin Love healthy or otherwise. And that’s heartbreaking for the Cavs, and for Love especially. They’re a professional basketball team, and one that’s used to success. They don’t want to just roll over and let the Warriors lazily grab their second consecutive championship. Yet, there’s nothing they can do. The Warriors are that good.
