So it seems that Kevin Love will only miss one game due to going through the concussion protocol after a hit to the head in Game 2. It’s just a little interesting that Kevin Love wasn’t present when the Cleveland Cavaliers got one back from the Golden State Warriors.
Before we dive into the scapegoating, here’s the tweet from Akron Beach Journal’s Jason Lloyd.
Kevin Love still must be re-evaluated again tomorrow, but the feeling privately within Cavs is that he will be cleared to play in Game 4.

Now the reason I say ‘scapegoating’ is because I have a feeling that is what’s happening to Love. Now if you know me you know I don’t feel Kevin Love’s attitude towards being a member of the Cavaliers even though they gave him a taste of the Playoffs. But while the Cavs were getting their first win of the Finals, people were connecting it directly to Love’s absence from the game.
I don’t think that’s fair, I knew the Cavs would forget the first two games and comeback but until game 4 we can’t make a connection yet. That’s clear scapegoating and it’s taking the credit away from the Cavs that actually got into gear.
Do you really think that just because Kevin Love wasn’t present that Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson finally got their heads into gear? Now if the Cavs lose the Finals, it’s clear who will go first but for this one game I’m not saying they won it because Love wasn’t present.
