Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers are just going to ride out the regular season and the Playoffs. As soon as that happens. He’s ghost. I bet that Cleveland knows.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a story in the offseason saying that “Kevin Love told Cleveland in March that he was leaving”. I’m calling it right here.
If you haven’t noticed. Kevin Love has been out the past couple of games. When I saw that he was going to sit out. I assumed that he took my advice and sat out to recover from the back spasms he gained in November. I said that he should pack it in for the remainder of the regular season but I guess a couple of games will suffice. It’s his body after all. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Love is fine now and will return, but the reason for the rest was not back related.
“Me resting had nothing to do with my back,” Love said Wednesday morning. “Coach (David Blatt) had approached me. I was playing heavy minutes and he came to me and asked if I’d sit a game or two and that’s all it was.”
“I feel good. Anytime you take a couple days and a couple games in this part of the season, you come back feeling a little bit better,” Love said. “Everybody is focusing on their health; everyone wants to have a full roster come playoff time. This is my first experience going through it.“
Would you get the reference if I said ” I, Robot”, “D’you want some coffee?” and then sneezed?
I’m sneezing right now. He has the lowest minutes average of his career this year. Heavy minutes? Is Minnesota that far a distant memory? No. Miss me with that logic.
