Although the platinum-selling rapper has had and is currently going through his fair share of legal trouble, Kevin Gates isn’t letting his love for music take a backseat to everything he has going on at the moment.
With Isiah recently hitting its one year mark, it’s no surprise that Kevin Gates has plans for a new album and/or project to get fans through the next several months. In what may be a new taste of what’s to come, the rapper has premiered a new song, “What If.” A question that all of us has asked or will ask at some point in our lives, while the tune features Kevin Gates and his signature style, the chorus is home to Kevin questioning what it would be like if God was just like us, even in the not so glamour areas.
A nice approach, it most definitely works in its entirety. The first of what we can only hope to be more to come, take your listen to “What If,” below.
