If I could describe Kevin Garnett in one word. It would probably be “intense”. The way he trains, the way he gets ready before a game, headbutting and punching the stanchion, murmuring to himself. He’s very deep when it comes to preparation. And I love that. And when he’s in the game. You’re either with him or against him. It’s as simple as that.
Aspring ballers out there. This sport has been blessed with many role models. And I think that if your lacking intensity. Kevin Garnett is your man to look up to. Here’s what he said to Bleacher Report about how to survive the NBA.
Stop being so nice.
OK, that’s not exactly what the 19-year veteran said. But that’s definitely the gist of his recent musings.
“[You don’t last long in] this league by just whispering or being a nice guy or a guy the ladies like,”
“You’ve got to be an a—–e.“
He does have a point. If you want to be a Hall of Famer, you got to have to have a bully attitude. It’s as simple as that. You can be nice off the court. But once your feet hit the wood, it’s a bloodbath from then on.
