Kevin Garnett is returning to the Boston Celtics for his 18th season, and 19th and 20th as well. KG is set to sign a three-year deal worth $34 million to return – and finish his career – in Beantown. There was talk that Garnett would retire but a strong finish to the second half of the season, and a playoff showing that reminded many of the young KG were enough to convince him to return.
Once that decision was made, a return to the Celtics was the only option for Garnett.
