Kevin Garnett just experienced it first hand as Curry dropped a 40+ point game against the Minnesota Timberwolves to go 10-0. KG has been around the block, and he honestly sees comparison between Curry and Michael Jordan, not in terms of being the greatest, I see you getting ready to reject any comparisons to your sneaker God. KG simply sees Curry as his own thing, just like Michael was.
The Minnesota Timberwolves’ star (inset) didn’t say Curry is as good as Jordan. What he told the Minneapolis Star Tribune is that both players are unique. “Like Michael Jordan was a whole other thing, this guy is his own thing. It’s beautiful for basketball,” Garnett said.
Imagine if I titled this “KG thinks Steph is as good as Michael Jordan!”. We’re not about clickbait here. Which gives you the opportunity to just take the quote as it is and agree with it.
