When Ray Allen was asked post-game about Kevin Garnett’s cold shoulder, the former Celtic told TNT reporter Craig Sager, “That’s just KG being KG. He probably didn’t even see me coming, he had his head down.” A highly unlikely scenario but kudos to Ray for being the diplomat in the situation. When Garnett was asked about the incident he gave the answer that most would expect from a competitor as intense as he is.
“You know what man, I was just trying to stay as neutral as I could but obviously I’m an intense person. Other than it was blank, I just saw the Heat uniforms and obviously he’s on the other side and I just tried to play the game, man,” said Garnett.
