
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Wednesday that star forward Kevin Durant will be out 7-10 days with a strained left hamstring. Durant suffered the injury during the second quarter of the team’s victory against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
According to the press release, Durant will be reevaluated in 7-10 days to determine whether he is ready to join the team again. Durant, who played in only 27 games last season will certainly look to come back as soon as possible to help lead his team. Meanwhile, the Thunder will look for contributions from the likes of Kyle Singler and Anthony Morrow in trying to replace Durant.
