
It was exciting news to find out that Kevin Durant would be able to practice at USA Basketball minicamp in Las Vegas this week. Durant is recovering from a fractured right foot which kept him out for the majority of the 2014-15 season.
Judging by today’s video from practice, Durant is recovering nicely, and is still very much Kevin Durant.
Durant gave an update on his status along with some other general thoughts including getting back to work with the Thunder and his free agency in 2016. Following from Bleacher Report’s Ethan Skolnick:

Durant won’t be playing in the showcase on Thursday, but being able to practice and be working out with his NBA peers is the next step to ensuring his return when the Thunder open up the 2015-16 season.
