I’ve seen people on the road who follow ambulance’s and emergency services just to get their way out of traffic, being selfish and dangerous on the road to get somewhere just a little bit earlier than others. In Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant’s methods weren’t in question. Durant is known for his community service in his adopted home of Oklahoma, in 2013 with the tornado relief, and with his continued involvement with the community.
The list continues to grow for Durant, as he helped out an ambulance get to an emergency in Oklahoma this weekend (via News9 In Oklahoma City)

EMSA paramedics trying to get through rush hour traffic were in for quite the surprise after a famous driver helped them get to not only one but two emergencies on time.
They say that thoughtful driver was Kevin Durant.
“We were stuck in traffic, so pretty much cars surrounding us all over,” EMSA paramedic Peter Radford said. “All of a sudden, I see a silver Ferrari or a silver sports car pull in behind us.”
Before Radford knew it, the lanes of traffic started clearing.
“I see this Ferrari has it’s flashers on,” he said. “It’s actually making way for us to get through and navigate all the traffic.”
Paramedics and emergency services personnel in Oklahoma, are praising the home-town hero for his kind acts, especially in his silver Ferrari, and Durant commented on the situation:
“I saw the ambulance from behind me, and it was kind of slow in front of me, and I moved over. I said, ‘I’m just going to follow the ambulance so I can get through traffic real quick,’” Kevin Durant said. “So I moved over. I can’t take full credit for that.”
Kevin Durant is helping out people, winning playoff games and enjoying life right now, and Oklahoma is hoping it stays that way starting Monday in Oakland for Game 1. Let this be a testament to show you that Durant is not a bad guy at all and his helping hand has continued to help this Oklahoma City community.
