Kevin Durant has an opinion on the hack-a-whomever strategy and he wants you to hear it. The Oklahoma City Thunder star had a pretty clear view on the strategy and it did not involve changing the rules:
Kevin Durant didn't mince words about the Hack-a strategy:
"If you don't want to get hacked then work on your f—ing free throws."

The hacking strategy has been a widely discussed controversy within the league over the past few years. On one hand, it has led to many games becoming poor products as a result of slowed pace and seemingly endless free throws. On the other hand, there is a real argument to be made about the solution to the problem simply being players making their free throws. Clearly, Durant thinks that is the correct way to approach the problem.
The Thunder play the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. The Clippers are no strangers to the hacking strategy as they trot out poor free throw shooters in DeAndre Jordan and Josh Smith. Head coach Doc Rivers, meanwhile, has not been a stranger to the strategy either, having used it throughout his Clippers tenure. If Kevin Durant has anything to say about it, we will be seeing more of the strategy in this matchup.
