Kevin Durant is taking his talents everywhere this summer and meeting with some of the top organizations in the NBA. KD has scheduled meetings with the Thunder, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics. The cream of the crop in the NBA wants a chance with Durant but it might not matter. Not even a possible ‘Big 4’ being pitched could affect these meetings.
Teams have believed Durant is only taking meetings this summer to set up for a 1+1 deal which would allow him to get the max this year, opt out next season and then the real chase begins in 2017.
If teams believe that is what Durant will be doing, it’s hard to see him move away from OKC. KD having his mind made up doesn’t come as a shock.

Don’t stress too hard, Thunder fans. Yes, Durant, 27, is the star of this year’s NBA free agency reality show. But barring an incredible sales job, several friends and business colleagues close to the 2014 NBA MVP expect him to return to Oklahoma City for at least another year.
“His decision is 90 percent made. It would take an amazing sales pitch to change it,” said one of Durant’s longtime friends.
Another Durant colleague said, “It’s going to take some sweet-talking to get him to pass up all the money he can get by staying in OKC.”
