Oklahoma City Thunder star and reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant went down with a reoccurring issue with the screw in his surgically repaired foot. When Durant went down, the assessment for the remainder of his season was expected to only take ‘1 week’.
It’s been 2 and 1/2 weeks since Durant was supposed to be ‘assessed after a week’.
Now the question has been asked, when is Durant actually going to be coming back to the team and wear that Thunder uniform?
It seems like we have an answer from Thunder head coach Scott Brooks.
Following from Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.
Kevin Durant was evaluated today and is expected to return to play in a week to two weeks, Thunder coach Scott Brooks announces.

Durant might be hedging his bets and sitting back enjoying the masterful work of Russell Westbrook, who has basically been a walking triple-double for the Thunder.
Durant definitely needs to come back before the season is over though so he can get some playing time in his system before the playoffs start because once the Thunder get in, it’s going to be an uphill battle all the way to the NBA finals, if they plan on getting that far.
