The Golden State Warriors were handed a loss on Saturday night to the new look Houston Rockets. It was the Warriors first loss of the new year but the second time they lost to Houston this season. Houston used a 16-4 run to end the game, ending Golden State’s 14 game road win streak. Chris Paul, 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, and James Harden, 22 points and eight assists, led the way for Houston. But Kevin Durant held his own for the Warriors scoring 26 points, grabbing seven rebounds and handing out five assists and also took to defending his team against Warriors naysayers on the Rockets.
After the Rockets win, big man Clint Capela claimed Houston is a ‘better’ team than Golden State. Unfortunately for him, former NBA MVP and reigning NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant heard his comments and clapped back at Capela. Durant says that Capela can’t talk about the Warriors because his role on the Rockets is too easy.
Kevin Durant on Clint Capela telling ESPN the Rockets are better than the Warriors: "His job is not as hard. When your job is that hard, you know you can't just come out there and say shit like that." Full quote pic.twitter.com/T13lvMucQL
