According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Kentucky freshman guard Devin Booker is entering the 2015 NBA draft. The Wildcats guard averaged 10 points per game, 2.0 rebounds per game and 1.1 assist per game. Devin Booker had his best game against UCLA posting 19 points on 7-10 shooting from the field, 5-6 from behind the three point line, also scoring in double digits 18 times this season.
Even though Devin Booker didn’t start a single game this season for Kentucky, the Kentucky standout is projected a first round pick by DraftExpress.com, NBADraft.net, and many more. Compared to a Klay Thompson, Devin Booker will make someone’s fan base happy on draft day with his sweet stroke from behind the three point line. Devin was one of the best pure shooters in college basketball last season, he needs work on his defense but Booker will fill the stat sheet with points just like Klay Thompson.
Whichever team ends up drafting Booker can end up with a huge steal on their hands. Devin Booker has gone under the radar playing at Kentucky where there are 7 guys projected to have the possibility of getting drafted. Devin Booker could of started and logged a lot of minutes on any other college team, so the young fella has the makings of being the biggest steal of the draft.
