The Cavaliers have taken care of business so far in the Eastern Conference Finals from their victory in Game 1 which Atlanta put up a good fight, but still lost.
To the Hawks looking unconfident in themselves and defeated in Game 2.
Cleveland’s defense has improved as the post-season has gone on, but there’s one guy that’s not convinced that the Cavs are the better team.
3rd year player Kent Bazemore has been a pretty good player for Atlanta this season, and has shown he can be a nice role player.
Bazemore is clearly out of his mind though for this comment:
“We played them in the regular season this year and got the best of them. I still think we’re the better team, we just haven’t shown it yet.”
Bazemore is confident. I’ll give him credit and no NBA player would be at this level if they weren’t, but every viewer saw the same thing I did a Hawks team that had no answers for LeBron James and company.
Bazemore even tried to get physical with James in game 2:
LeBron has seen nearly every playoff scenario and the tough guy role from the opposing team hasn’t worked yet, and I highly doubt its going to start now either.
James let his play do the talking the rest of the way, but makes you wonder what Bazemore is even thinking down 2-0 making comments like this.
