We got some beef! I repeat, we have got some beef and it’s grass-fed and walking free. Where am I going with this?
Anyway. We have a back and forth between players. Warriors veteran Marreese Speights took a shot at OKC’s resident bowling ball Kendrick Perkins after the Warriors beat the Thunder.
But here comes Perkins. And he doesn’t take slander kindly as he says this to The Oklahoman.
“I just don’t understand some guys, especially like a guy his caliber — five or six-year player in the league, you been on six different teams,” Perkins said. “You don’t really have no room to be talking about anyone.”
“It’s his world, I’m just living in it,” Perkins joked. “That’s my response to Marreese Speights.”
Is it just me? Or was that the most measured response that Perkins has ever had?
And I would like to say. Speights is definitely better than Kendrick Perkins. Even if Marreese has been a bit of a journeyman, he can actually take a jumpshot.
I will be interested for the next game against these two teams. Perkins is known for setting a mean pick. Marreese will rub his hands when he sees this game pop up on his schedule again.
