Kendrick Perkins Out For At Least Two Weeks Of Training Camp
Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins suffered a strained quad muscle and will be reevaluated in two weeks, keeping him out of some of the Thunder’s training camp via ESPN’s Royce Young. Thunder GM Sam Presti made the announcement.
Perkins is on the last season of his contract and is set for $9.4 million. Young big man Steven Adams has been primed to take Perkins’ place as Oklahoma City’s enforcer.
