SZA surprised the Los Angeles crowd Monday evening with a surprise appearance from Kendrick Lamar.
SZA ended the West Coast slate of her tour at the Novo in downtown Los Angeles. The 26-year-old singer has enjoyed mainstream success thanks to her critically acclaimed album Ctrl, featuring the singles “Love Galore” and “The Weekend.”
After Ctrl dropped, SZA’s music began appearing in the HBO show Insecure. SZA recentl did a collaboration with Lorde, Khalid and Post Malone called “Homemade Dynamite.”
Kendrick Lamar is known to pop up at anyone’s concert. On Monday evening, Lamar surprised the crowd when he emerged to perform his “Doves in the Wind” verse.
